Data from the Central Bank of Jordan showed a significant improvement in remittances from Jordanian expatriates during the first seven months of 2024.

These remittances increased by 3.6 percent, reaching USD 2.054 billion, compared to USD 1.983 billion during the same period in 2023.

Expat remittances are a key source of foreign currency reserves in Jordan and play an important role in improving the balance of payments and supporting the national currency's exchange rate.
